Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in arts management or equivalent experience.
• Track record in securing contributed earned revenues including grants, corporate support and individual giving.
• At least five years of proven success in executive or senior management of not-for-profit or for-profit arts organization with relevant experience.
• Deep commitment to music, visual and/or performing arts education and community advocacy as a fundraiser.
• Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in arts management.
• Prudent financial management.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Center of Performing Arts, including budget input and revenue-generation efforts for sustainability.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop multi-year artistic and education programming and negotiate artist contracts.
• Publicize CPA programming with Marketing and Communications and align with GovState stakeholders.
• Engage campus community and use CPA spaces for internal events to maximize impact.
• Represent the CPA on boards and committees supporting community arts and education.
