Job summary

Multnomah Athletic Club seeks an enthusiastic Artistic Swimming Assistant Coach to inspire and guide young athletes toward competitive excellence. You will lead practices, choreograph routines, and travel with teams to competitions, fostering a culture of excellence and personal growth.

This full-time, on-site role in Portland requires strong coaching background in synchronized swimming, excellent communication, and the ability to manage events, clinics, and team schedules.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications, CCP Level 1 or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Concussion management training within 60 days.
• USA Artistic Swimming coaching member in good standing.
• Background in competitive artistic (synchronized) swimming.
• Familiarity with TeamSnap, ISS, and common office software.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop swimmers toward competitive excellence; lead and monitor in-water and land-based training.
• Choreograph routines and edit music for performances.
• Coordinate and accompany teams to competitions; manage logistics.
• Lead and support classes, clinics, and camps; organize meet entries and results.
