Job summary

The Atlanta Opera is seeking an experienced Artistic and Operations Manager to oversee scheduling and operations across artistic and production departments. The role reports to the Director of Artistic Administration and governs company-wide planning, including DIESE implementation and cross-division coordination.

It requires strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills, with a background in opera production and proficiency in Microsoft Office and related planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain full-company production, rehearsal, and daily schedules with Production.
• Serve as the primary administrator for DIESE, including implementation, workflows, data integrity, and reporting.
• Maintain the Artistic department Outlook calendar and planning data for productions, rehearsals, performances, and personnel.
• Act as liaison between Artistic and Production for schedules, rehearsal needs, and project changes; assist with casting needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in music, arts administration, stage management, production management, or related field
