New England Conservatory of Music (NEC) is seeking an Artistic Operations Coordinator to provide essential administrative support for the Dean and Chief Artistic Officer and the Conservatory’s performance departments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably within an arts or educational environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Workspace; experience with ArtsVision, and room scheduling software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing complex data and schedules.
• Exceptional judgment and discretion in time‑sensitive situations; ability to work nights and weekends for concerts and production weeks.
• Some evening and weekend hours will be required to support events.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and general scheduling support for the office of the Dean and Chief Artistic Officer to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Coordinate contracting and financial administration for guest artists, visiting faculty, and outside designers, in close coordination with performance department administrators.
• Scheduling & events: support season planning and work with Production and Venue Operations to ensure logistics for major events are executed at the highest level.
