Job summary

Harvard University’s American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) seeks a Line Producer to oversee artistic projects, budgets, and collaborations with artists and staff.

Reporting to the Producer and Director of Production, you will develop schedules, manage budgets up to $2M annually, and coordinate with Goel Center teams and venues.

This role requires strong people skills and a theatre production background, with flexibility to work in the evenings and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• A minimum of 5 years professional experience in theatrical producing, line producing, general management, production management, artistic administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish with organized workflow.
• Create and steward relationships with artists and external stakeholders.
• Develop rehearsal and performance schedules with production teams.
• Manage budgets and financial decisions on projects (e.g., up to $2M annually).
• Provide staffing and onboarding support for guest artists.
