Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Line Producer for the ART (American Repertory Theater) to oversee core artistic projects and manage budgets up to $2M annually. This role will coordinate with producers, production management, and general management to enable dynamic theatre programming.

You will collaborate with senior artistic leadership to shape productions, residencies, and community programming at the Goel Center, as well as student residencies and events across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in theatrical producing, line producing, general management, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position; pre-employment reference and background screenings are required.
• Basic familiarity with theatrical union agreements (AEA/USA/SDC) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish with an organized workflow.
• Build and steward relationships with artists and external stakeholders across Greater Boston, New England, New York and beyond.
• Contribute to programming discussions with the senior artistic team to evaluate future projects in line with ART’s mission.
• Establish and maintain relationships with venues, vendors, producing entities, and community partners.
• Coordinate with partners to program events across Goel Center spaces (concerts, readings, panels, classes, etc.).
