Job summary

Buff City Soap Franchising LLC in Addison, TX is seeking a Production Specialist to create soaps, detergents, bath bombs, lotions, and body butters. You will follow recipes, operate equipment, and ensure quality while supporting inventory needs and production schedules.

The role emphasizes hands-on craftsmanship, safe practices, and collaboration with Production, Fulfillment, Procurement, and Operations teams to meet customer demand. Physical lifting and seasonal peaks are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in production, manufacturing, food handling, cosmetics, or similar hands-on work.
• Ability to follow precise recipes and repeat processes consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness during production.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with seasonal volume fluctuations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Experience in handmade bath & body production or natural product manufacturing (preferred).
• Familiarity with batching logs, scale operation, and small-batch production equipment (preferred).
• Understanding of weight-based measurement, curing/drying processes, and ingredient safety(preferred).

Responsibilities

• Produce Buff City Soap products in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Follow production procedures to ensure consistency in product appearance, scent, texture, performance, and overall quality.
• Operate production equipment and tools safely and effectively while maintaining productivity goals.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process and communicate any issues that could impact product quality or output.
• Accurately document batch information, ingredient usage, and production records.
• Support daily and weekly production goals while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards and operating procedures.
• Assist with inventory movement, ingredient organization, and material replenishment to support efficient production flow.
• Partner closely with Production, Fulfillment, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure products are available to meet customer demand.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall team performance.
