Starbucks Reserve Kitchen in New York is seeking a dedicated baker to support our Reserve & Roastery locations. You will assist Bakers and Lead Bakers with daily production lists, weigh dough, shape breads, and ensure quality and sanitation standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of professional baking experience, strong knife skills, and a passion for learning culinary arts. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 55 lbs. Comprehensive benefits apply.

Competenze

• 1+ years baking in a professional kitchen (commercial kitchen a plus)
• Current Health Code Certification (preferred)
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry 35lbs on a consistent basis and up to 55lbs occasionally
• Competent knife skills
• Data entry; basic working knowledge of computers
• Basic Math and English skills

Mansioni

• Work under supervision while preparing designated bakery items per established recipes.
• Support daily production lists and maintain Reserve and Starbucks Gold Standard.
• Receive ingredients and other supplies from main kitchen and/or pantry for daily operations.
• Cut and weigh dough into uniform portions with knife or divider; mold dough into loaves or other shapes and place in pans; proof dough.
• Shape dough by hand or with dough rollers to required forms.
• Scale recipes for production using gram/kilogram scales and other measures.
• Maintain lot tracking sheets and HACCP temperature logs as necessary.
• Assist Bakers and Lead Bakers in production planning and execution as directed.
