Job summary

Eataly North America in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Pizza Maker to produce roman-style pizza alla pala following our authentic Italian recipes. You will report to the Bakery Manager and work on site with a focus on crafting high-quality pizzas.

This role requires 1+ year in back-of-house production, a strong work ethic, and solid communication and time-management skills. You will operate wood-burning ovens, electric pizza ovens, and a commercial mixer, with possible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a back of house production position.
• Good work ethic, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares pizzas according to specific recipes.
• Keeps portions and quality standards in line with department rules.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary production area according to health standards.
• Works across all shifts in pizza production.
• Assists Sales Associates and engages with guests learning about pizza production.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
