Job summary

Wheatsville is seeking a Pastry Baker for a part-time role in Austin, TX. You will bake bread, pastries, donuts and other goods, preparing items to meet production schedules and stocking bakery cases.

You should have 1–2+ years of baking experience, a friendly, professional demeanor, and the ability to follow recipes while managing multiple demands and maintaining high attendance and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Be present and prepared to begin work at the start of scheduled shifts.
• Prepares bread, rolls, muffins, cakes, pastries, donuts and other baked goods according to recipes.
• Monitor goods to ensure highest quality of finished product.
• Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
• Operates Bakehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace throughout shift.
• Maintain Bakehouse and food storage areas in sanitary condition meeting Health Dept. standards.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Bakehouse Supervisor, Fresh Manager, or Operations Leads.
