The Rittenhouse Group is seeking a Pastry Cook to prepare pastries and baked goods to our high culinary standards. You will follow recipes, set up mise en place, and work with the kitchen team to support for A la Carte Restaurant, Brunch, and Banquets while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous culinary experience or equivalent training required.
• Department of Health Sanitation certificate may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare pastries and baked goods.
• Set up work station with required mise en place, tools, equipment and supplies.
• Work with staff in preparation of baked goods for the restaurant, brunch, and banquets.
• Bake breads, rolls, or other baked goods.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain clean and sanitized work areas.
