You bring proven meat cutting experience, exceptional knife skills, and a strong commitment to food safety. This role demands reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior meat cutting experience including breaking down sub-primals.
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of cut techniques.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and storage standards.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare a wide range of meat products to Plum Market standards and Customer preferences.
• Assist in ground meats, oven-ready items, and value-added offerings using in-house recipes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Ensure proper product rotation and restocking of meat cases to maintain freshness.
• Provide knowledgeable and personalized Customer Service, including preparation advice.
• Help train and support Team Members in proper cutting and food safety techniques.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members, Store Leadership, and Customers to support department goals.
• Uphold Plum Market policies, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
