Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a reliable butcher to prepare specialty meat cuts to meet customer specifications. You will select products from tickets, cut to spec, weigh, and stage for packaging while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with HACCP, OSHA and GMP guidelines. We offer weekly pay, health benefits, 401k and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of previous work experience.
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select products from pick tickets and stage for production.
• Cut product to meet customer specifications.
• Transport finished product to appropriate packaging line utilizing carts.
• Weigh product to ensure compliance with customer/company specifications.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain work area clean and orderly.
• Must maintain product integrity with proper handling & report damage to management immediately.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all federal, state and local HACCP, OSHA & GMP guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned
