Job summary

ABC Imaging in Carlstadt, NJ is seeking a Cabinet Maker to join our team. Under the Shop Manager, the incumbent performs fabrication functions typical of the woodworking industry.

You will produce client displays and custom fixtures, focusing on wood picture frames, and may complete finishing steps such as cutting, laminating, mounting printed jobs. You will help maintain equipment and assist inventory and installation teams as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in Woodworking, Finish Carpentry or Sign/Display fabrication required.
• Attention to detail and ability to stick with a task until it is completed to high quality standards.
• Comfortable using router, jig saw, table saw, hinge machine, hammer, wood file, chisels, tape measure, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus.

Responsibilities

• Producing client displays and custom fixtures, with focus on wood picture frames.
• May perform finishing operations such as cutting, installing grommets, laminating, and/or mounting of printed jobs.
• Maintains and cleans production and fabrication equipment on a regular basis.
• Assists Manager in maintaining inventory and organizing fabrication supplies
• Assists installation team as needed.
