PD Instore in New Hope, MN is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to set up and operate woodworking machines and hand tools to create high-end retail displays from wood, metal, acrylic and other materials. The role integrates plastics, metals and electronics as needed for displays.

You will read blueprints, plan cutting sequences, ensure precise dimensions, match materials by color/texture, install hardware, apply finishes, and maintain safety while working under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2 year technical/business degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in a production/manufacturing environment or similar.
• Excellent cabinet making skills with emphasis on quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend prints.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or drawings to plan cutting or shaping operations.
• Set up and operate woodworking machines to cut and shape parts from wood stock.
• Glue, fit, and clamp parts to form subassemblies.
• Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
• Follow safety and workplace policies.
