Woodtronics in New York specializes in custom cabinetry and millwork for commercial, industrial, and high-end residential projects. We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to fabricate, install, and finish cabinets and counters using wood, plywood, and hardwood.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications and prepare cut lists.
• Build and assemble custom millwork, furniture, kitchens and vanities.
• Plan tasks to make efficient use of time and equipment.
• Set up and operate production equipment to produce components according to drawings.
• Work with engineered wood products, veneers and hardwoods.
• Verify compliance of produced components with design documents.
• Assemble components into completed units using fasteners, adhesives, and joinery techniques.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing department.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• 5+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
• Construct cabinets, counters, millwork and install
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
