Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. The role involves supporting production and fabrication of food, assisting with menu development reflecting seasonal availability, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of kitchen experience or culinary education, a current food handler certification, and be willing to work day/night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Active Food handler’s certification.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
  • Requires strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and follow recipes and menus reflecting seasonal availability.
  • Assist culinary leadership in production and food fabrication for kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
  • Assist in cafeteria, banquet, dining room, and fine dining prep as needed.
  • Prepare ingredients and ensure food quality and portion control.
  • Minimize food waste through effective cross-utilization.
  • Collaborate with world‑class culinary team.
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage of food and other items.
