Job summary

The role requires 1+ years in retail or food service, plus strong communication, planning, and reading/writing skills. Safety and post-hire training support your success.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• 1+ years of experience in retail or food service.
• Knowledge of computer systems and equipment (e.g., PC, scales, label machine).
• Strong customer service skills.

• Planning and organizing skills.
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of Company Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service.
• Takes cake orders from customers by telephone or in person, with high accuracy.
• Answers questions regarding products and assists with selections.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and boost sales.
• Applies decorating techniques for items per VTAs to ensure quality cakes.
• Reads daily production list through cake flow and ensures timely display.
• Slices, packages, labels, and rotates products.
• Maintains sanitation and follows food safety standards.
• Operates equipment properly and supports production planning.
