Job summary

Harmons is seeking a Bakery Associate to maintain quality and product levels for our fresh baked artisan breads. You will mix, shape, score, and bake dough, receive and store products, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires following precise recipes and techniques, ensuring product freshness, and supporting the bakery team, including weekend/evening shifts. Food handling knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Experience with artisan breads and dough preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Basic math for scaling recipes.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all bakery products.
• Maintain appropriate bread counter inventory and assortment.
• Verify pricing accuracy and signage for artisan breads.
• Keep bakery area clean and sanitized daily.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist bakery team.
