Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Holladay, UT is seeking a Bakery Associate to maintain quality standards and production levels for fresh baked artisan breads. You will mix, shape, score, and bake dough, receive and store product, and provide exceptional customer service.

The role requires ability to follow recipes, basic math for scaling recipes, teamwork, weekend/evening shifts, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety in a bustling bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year baking experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Bakery provides.
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the artisan bread counter.
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all artisan bread products, paying particular attention to ad items.
• Ensures the Bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
• Follows precise recipes and techniques for the mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking of Harmons’ artisan breads.
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Bakery as a whole.
