Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Utah's Orem area is seeking a Bakery Associate to maintain quality and stock of artisan breads. You will mix, shape, score, and bake breads and provide exceptional service to customers while handling pricing and signage with care.

The role requires the ability to read recipes, follow precise procedures, and maintain clean, organized workspaces. Weekend/evening availability is expected to support bakery operations and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; baking experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Basic math skills used to half or double recipes.
• Knowledge of baking procedures and times.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality standards and product levels of all fresh baked artisan bread products.
• Mixes, shapes, scores, and bakes artisan breads.
• Receives and stores product and maintains inventory for the bread counter.
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for artisan bread items, especially ads.
• Keeps the bakery clean and sanitized daily per company standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
