Job summary

Harmons in Draper, KY is seeking a bakery associate to maintain quality standards and product levels for fresh artisan breads. You will mix, shape, score, and bake breads, receive and store product, and deliver exceptional customer service at the counter.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), bakery experience (preferred), and a current Food Handler's Permit. Weekend/evening shifts and the ability to follow recipes are required.

Qualifications

• One year of baking experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Basic math skills used to adjust recipes.
• Knowledge of baking procedures and times.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Bakery provides.
• Maintains product assortment and inventory levels for the artisan bread counter.
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for artisan bread products.
• Ensures the Bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
• Follows recipes and techniques for mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking artisan breads.
• Assists to ensure the Bakery's overall success.
