Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a full-time beverage associate for the Starbucks Blodgett location. You will produce a wide range of beverages according to standardized recipes, learn ingredients and measurements, and maintain safety and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle cash, stock, and sanitation duties while delivering personalized customer experiences and ensuring high quality.

Qualifications

Must read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math and computer skills.
Preferred: High school graduate or equivalent.
Food service and cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

Production of a wide variety of beverage recipes per standardized recipes.
Learn and retain beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes.
Work in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
Multitask across roles including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation.
Operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Identify ingredients or products not meeting quality standards and correct issues.
Prepare for semi-annual health department and external inspections.
Create personalized experiences for customers and fulfill specific requests.
Provide effective service recovery when expectations are not met.
