Job summary

CD Okemos 10, LLC (dba Mugg&Bopps) is hiring a Food Service Baker to prepare baked goods per company recipes and quality standards. You will manage production levels, ensure safe food handling, and present bakery items attractively.

The role requires adherence to food safety guidelines, attention to detail, and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior baking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Follows recipes precisely and maintains consistent product quality.

• Supports baking area cleanliness and proper equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, proof, and bake ingredients using proper baking techniques.
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent quality.
• Decorate, package, label, and display bakery items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, including temperature controls and allergen awareness.
• Track production quantities and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory of baking ingredients and supplies; rotate stock using FIFO.
• Communicate with management regarding product needs, shortages, or quality issues.
• Support customer service needs as assigned.
