Whole Foods Market in Berkeley is seeking a versatile Team Member for bakery and prep duties. You will measure, mix, and bake dough, ensure product quality, and provide friendly customer service while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires reliable shifts, teamwork, and adherence to store procedures. Applicants should have 6–12 months retail experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including nights/weekends.

• Basic math for recipe conversions and modifications.
• Ability to operate point of sale systems.

Responsabilidades

• Measure, mix, and prepare raw materials per recipes and specs.
• Form, cut, mold, and bake dough.
• Monitor cooking times; adjust heat/humidity for proofing.
• Check products to meet WFM quality standards.
• Complete temperature, sanitation, and cleanliness logs.
• Attend required trainings and shifts on time; stay groomed and prepared.
• Provide excellent customer service; assist customers promptly and courteously.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures including health, sanitation, and safety rules.
• Maintain clean, safe working and shopping areas; ensure proper pricing and signage.
• Report safety hazards or violations immediately.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; support store leadership.
• Perform other duties as required by store, regional, or national leadership.
