Responsibilities include assembling, icing, and finishing baked goods, maintaining clean and safe conditions, and supporting the display and sale of bakery items.

Qualifications

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills.
• Intermediate piping techniques and decorative flowers/borders.
• Color theory for buttercream colors and palettes.
• Techniques for various icings and fillings.
• Follow recipes and maintain timing and accuracy.
• Advanced knife handling and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, and special-order items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products in display cases and ensure freshness.
• Provide guidance for Apprentices and team members.
• Create custom order cake designs per customer preferences.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage phones.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bakery area.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
