Artillery SME - Management Analyst III

These services support test planning, execution, support, operations, and logistics across various systems, including Indirect Fire Weapons Systems, sensors, communications, mobility platforms, systems integration, and COTS equipment with military applications, primarily for Expeditionary Warfare.

Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):
  1. Ten years of specialized experience in ammunition surveillance operations.
  2. Ability to perform independently and lead a team of mixed senior and junior technical staff.
  3. Must obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
  4. Experience working with NSWC-Corona, Fallbrook detachment, supporting Expeditionary Systems Engineering Division with indirect fire weapons, ammunition, and support equipment, both in-office and in-field testing.
  5. Technical support experience with energetics/explosives or weapons systems programs.
  6. At least five years of project management oversight for Navy ordnance environmental and explosives safety programs, including DoN Explosives Safety inspections and related database management.
  7. Field experience observing performance testing, data collection, hazard analysis, report writing, and root cause analysis of malfunctions.
  8. Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skill Requirements:
  1. Experience with Marine Corps Ammunition/Artillery systems.
  2. Current Secret Clearance.
  3. Quality Assurance experience with Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000, or ANSI standards.
  4. Experience in development and testing of major weapons systems.
  5. Knowledge of Navy Risk Management Program for Ammunition and Explosives.
  6. Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, and prepare technical documentation and presentations.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education:

High School diploma required; BA/BS in project management or engineering preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 15 years in related fields. Veterans with MOS 0861, 0869, 0848, Army MOS 13B40, 13F40, 13J40, or 13Z are preferred.
