South Hills Irrigation & Turf is seeking an experienced Artificial Turf Installation Manager to lead installation crews for residential and commercial projects, including putting greens and specialty turf spaces. This hands-on leadership role requires taking ownership from start to finish and maintaining high-quality standards on every site.

You will coordinate daily schedules, equipment, and materials, mentor crew members, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction while expanding turf

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise artificial turf installation crews on residential and commercial projects.
• Perform and oversee all phases of turf installation: site prep, excavation, grading, base installation, infill, finishing.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards and project specs.
• Coordinate daily crew assignments, schedules, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and measurements.
• Identify and resolve installation challenges in the field.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized jobsite.
• Communicate professionally with customers, PMs, and leadership.
• Monitor project progress, material usage, and labor productivity.
• Train and mentor crew members on techniques and safety.
• Maintain company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with material ordering, project planning, and logistics.

South Hills Irrigation & Turf is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on, Artificial Turf Installation Manager to join our team! We specialize in high-quality artificial turf installations for residential and commercial properties, including putting greens, pet areas, playgrounds, athletic spaces, and custom outdoor projects.

We're looking for someone who knows the turf installation process inside and out, takes pride in their work, and has the leadership skills to manage a crew and deliver exceptional results. This is a hands-on leadership position—we need someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty while keeping projects organized, crews productive, and customers happy!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise artificial turf installation crews on residential and commercial projects.
• Perform and oversee all phases of turf installation, including site preparation, excavation, grading, base installation, compaction, turf cutting, seaming, securing, infill, and finishing.
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate daily crew assignments, schedules, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and measurements.
• Identify and resolve installation challenges in the field.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and company leadership.
• Monitor project progress, material usage, and labor productivity.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
• Ensure company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.

• Experience installing synthetic putting greens, pet turf, playgrounds, or commercial turf systems.
• Knowledge of drainage systems, grading, excavation, and base preparation.
• Experience operating skid steers, compactors, and other landscaping equipment.
• Experience estimating materials, labor, and project timelines.
• Experience with irrigation systems and landscape construction.
