Job summary

Family Health West in Fruita, CO is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for Arthritis & Rheumatology to join our on-site care team. You will support physicians, take vital signs, assist with examinations, and help coordinate patient flow in a busy clinic.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA certification, BLS, and at least one year of hands-on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification and/or Registration required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Must have at least one year hands-on medical assisting experience or related education.

Responsibilities

• Check daily schedule and maintain punctual attendance.
• Accurately complete patient records in a timely manner.
• Take and record vital signs and other basic measurements.
• Provide medical assistance to patients under physician direction.
• Assist with transporting patients for imaging and labs.
• Support with transfers/admissions and patient education as directed.
• Participate in ongoing education and preventive care programs.
