We are seeking a self- motivated, energetic, and charismatic Artel Sales Specialist to work remotely to serve as a core team member of the growing Clinical Sales team.

A Day In The Life

As an Artel Sales Specialist you will be responsible for selling the Advanced Instruments (AI) Artel Liquid Volume Verification product portfolio. In this exciting role, the sales specialist will work directly with existing and prospective western US customers to identify their needs, deliver product demonstrations, and provide exceptional product support. Your primary objective will be to drive market penetration and meet or exceed sales objectives within acceptable profit goals. You will be r esponsible for all aspects of the sale including lead qualification, virtual and on-site product demonstrations, quotations, negotiations, and post-sale follow-up. You will m aintain a high level of consultative sales skills, product and application methodology knowledge with associated features and benefits required to convert customer needs to sales. You will f ollow all local safety procedures, State and Federal OSHA Regulations, and reports any safety concerns. The Artel Sales Specialist s ervices existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities in the eastern territory.

What We Are Looking For In You

  • Degree preferred in Medical Technology, Sciences or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Field sales experience required (preference for experience selling to hospital laboratories).
  • MT (ASCP) or equivalent license.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Well-developed PC/MAC skills including MS Windows, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as experience with a CRM.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to travel, at times on short notice.
  • Ability to manage accounts while also managing costs and risks.
  • Proficiency to effectively communicate (orally and written) both technical and non-technical topics.
  • Strong presentation skills demonstrated before customers, peers, and senior management.
  • Ability to recognize and manage potential problem areas and resolve them with integrity.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50-60% of the time, primarily within the Eastern United States

Work Location: Remote

Remote team members must live and work in the United States or Canada and have access to reliable, high-speed internet. Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, and Yukon Territory.
