KVC Missouri Residential Treatment Facility
Location: Springfield, MO
Salary: $64,000-$70,000 annually (Depending on certification/registration and experience)
Job Summary
The Art Therapist will work with children and adolescents in residential care, using the power of art or music to support their emotional and psychological growth.
This role involves creating and implementing personalized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and collaborating with a dedicated team to support our residents' development.
The Art Therapist will create a safe and supportive environment where residents can freely express themselves, encouraging self-exploration and emotional release through creative expression.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
Licensure/Certification: LMSW, LSW, LSCSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT or other professional license issued/approved by the state(s) in which you practice.
Must also hold certification in one of the following licenses:
Art Therapist: Registered (ATR) or Board Certified (ATR-BC)
