Job summary

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, NY is seeking an Art Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will design and implement individualized art therapy programs that support neuroplasticity, emotional regulation, and communication within our comprehensive rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Art Therapy required.
Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in health care or brain injury care preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive initial art therapy assessments for clients.
Develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals.
Facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions.
Adapt art materials to accommodate physical or cognitive limitations.
Document client progress in electronic health records daily.
Participate in weekly interdisciplinary clinical team meetings.
Maintain the safety, organization, and inventory of art supplies.
