Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary hourly-intermittent work-study student assistant for the Art Department. The position involves helping in the Painting and Printmaking Studios, ensuring safety and organization, and assisting with technical and software-related questions.

Preferred candidates include art-major enrollment, printmaking experience, basic PC skills, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Word, and Excel. Open until filled; starting after Sept 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Undergrad must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in the Painting and Printmaking Studios.
• Ensure safety practices are employed, and that rooms and equipment are kept secure, neat and clean.
• Assist with technical questions/issues that students may have.
• Assist with computer/software related troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned in the ART Department.
