The successful candidate will teach Painting and Drawing, contribute to curriculum and assessment, and participate in department governance and student success initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s in fine arts, art, or art history.
• BA in any of the above.
• MA in humanities or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach Painting and Drawing courses at the instructional level.
• Advise and assist students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and connect to campus services.
• Participate in curriculum development reflecting culturally-responsive pedagogy.
• Select instructional materials aligned with equity-minded mission.
• Maintain currency in the field and complete required reports.
• Engage in governance and service activities within the department and college.
