Qualifications

• Master’s degree in art history or related field required.
• Art history master’s + history master’s or equivalent needed.
• Equivalent qualifications may be accepted with detailed explanation.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art History courses under the TrAC program.
• Advise students to achieve course objectives and student learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and connect to campus-support services.
• Participate in curriculum revision reflecting culturally-responsive pedagogy.
• Select textbooks and materials aligned with equity-minded mission.
• Maintain currency in the field and complete required records.

Education

Master’s in art history, history of art and architecture or visual culture/visual studies

Bachelor’s in art history and master’s in history

Master’s in art with an emphasis or concentration in art history
