Job summary

Amtrak seeks a Fall 2026/Spring 2027 Choose & Book ART Support Intern in Washington, DC. The role focuses on improving product management practices, backlog quality analysis, feature documentation, portfolio reporting, and customer research during the internship period.

Responsibilities include developing documentation, dashboards, and research deliverables to support PI planning, analyzing market data, and aiding the product team with status reports and planning artifacts.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution.
• Must be pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, or Computer Science.
• Must have at least 1 year of undergraduate studies completed or sophomore status at minimum.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop product documentation, reporting, dashboards, and research deliverables.
• Analyze customer, market, and delivery information and present recommendations to product leadership.
• Contribute to the Choose & Book product team by conducting customer and market research and maintaining planning artifacts.
• Develop an understanding of Agile product management and produce deliverables to improve visibility and planning.
