Job summary

Muse Paintbar in Gaithersburg, MD seeks an energetic Art Instructor to lead two-hour painting sessions on stage, host the party, and ensure food and drinks land at the bar and tableside. You’ll guide guests through steps, manage time, and keep the room engaged in a fast-paced studio setting.

Requirements include 2+ years painting experience, teaching or group leadership, customer-facing skills, and comfort with studio tech. Part-time 15–25 hours weekly, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on painting experience, acrylics preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related art field preferred.
• Experience teaching or leading a group preferred.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Lead painting sessions on stage and host the party.
• Guide attendees through steps using templates and pacing.
• Ensure food and drinks land at the bar and tableside.
• Greet guests, seat them, and manage orders.
• Capture photos for social media during sessions.
• Break down and clean up after sessions and reset studio.
