Job summary

Jewish Community Center of Youngstown is seeking a School of Visual Arts Instructor to bring art to life for participants of all ages. The role includes teaching after-school art classes, a monthly Senior Living class, a monthly community class, and supervising Open Studio sessions.

You will create engaging lesson plans, manage art supplies, and collaborate with staff to support community creativity and education across programs.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of teaching experience.
• Ability to teach a wide range of demographics.
• Strong organization and love for art education.

Responsibilities

• Instruct multiple visual art classes per the program descriptions.
• Create and maintain age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
