Ohlone College's Art History department seeks a pool of qualified candidates for temporary, part-time teaching assignments at the Fremont Campus, Newark Center, and the eCampus. Assignments may occur day, evening or weekend in-person, online or hybrid formats.

Qualifications

• Commitment to equity-based and anti-racist community college goals and diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication with students, staff and faculty peers.
• Ability to engage students and employ innovative teaching strategies and technology.

Responsabilités

• Teach Art History per post-secondary course outlines.
• Evaluate student work with clear criteria and timely feedback.
• Maintain and submit records by published deadlines.
• Create an equity-based and welcoming classroom environment.
• Perform duties as assigned at Fremont Campus, Newark Center or online.

Formation

Master's in art history, history of art and architecture or visual culture/visual studies

Bachelor's in art history AND master's in history

Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history
