Job summary

Maui Hands seeks a part-time Sales Associate and Gallery Assistant to join our team. The role combines customer-facing sales with gallery support across three Maui galleries, with shifts split between sales and gallery duties.

The position requires a friendly, art-loving individual capable of handling totals, inventory, and customer engagement. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission for Gallery Assistant duties.

Qualifications

• Friendly and passionate about art, sales and customer service.
• Ability to work part-time 3-4 days a week with mixed duties as Sales Associate and Gallery Assistant.
• Experience in a gallery or retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• As Sales Associate: engage with customers, share artist information, facilitate sales, process sales in POS.
• As Gallery Assistant: greet customers, answer phones, wrap items, maintain gallery flow and cleanliness.
• Handle inventory paperwork and digital files for new inventory and orders.
