Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for The Arts.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a variety of art programs for members ages 6–18 throughout the school year.
• Recruit and retain youth for art programs.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver programs across visual, digital, performing, and applied arts.
• Ensure safety, positive environment, and program quality in all activities.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain scheduling for program Director/Unit Director.
