Job summary

Imagine-Exhibitions, Inc. is seeking an Exhibit & Retail Operations Supervisor to help manage daily on-site floor activities for our engaging exhibits and guest-centric retail spaces.

You will supervise frontline staff, assist with scheduling and training, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure a seamless guest experience across exhibits and shops. The role requires flexible hours and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in retail, attractions, or hospitality preferred.
• Prior experience in guest service or customer-facing roles required.
• Experience handling cash, POS systems, and shift operations a plus.
• Seasoned safety ambassador
• Background in team-based work environments preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Must be organized, reliable, and detail oriented.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on the floor to ensure smooth exhibit and retail activity.
• Support the General Manager by assisting with staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Act as a first point of contact for guest questions, concerns, or escalations.
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking as needed.
• Provide feedback and coaching to frontline staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Communicate updates, goals, and expectations from management to the team.
• Support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Assist with implementing promotions, events, and other operational initiatives.
• Meet sales goals and criteria.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure operational efficiency.

Job Summary:

• Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally for the purposes of moving equipment on and off shelves.

• Proficient in activities requiring manual dexterity of both hands.
• Primarily an onsite position.
