Job summary

EAB in the Washington, DC area seeks a temporary Art Director for Advancement Marketing Services to plan and execute visual elements of direct marketing materials for higher education clients, including mail, emails, landing pages and digital ads.

You will collaborate with client account teams, copywriters and digital marketing specialists to create high-quality creative work that meets client goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2 years of work experience in marketing or advertising environment
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Mac
• Knowledge of HTML email design and best practices
• Graphic optimization and web animation knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute art, design and visual elements for direct marketing materials
• Create content across mail, freemiums, emails, webpages and social ads
• Build emails and landing pages using HTML and CSS
• Collaborate with account team, writers and digital specialists to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain files of creative reference materials
• Participate in client discovery and rediscovery discussions
