Job summary

EAB Career Center seeks a temporary Copywriter to blend the voices of partner institutions with proven marketing principles for mail and online campaigns. The role requires professional writing experience and a passion for serving students and partner bases.

This position may be based in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C. The temporary role will last through 6/30/27 in Advancement Marketing Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• At least 2 years writing experience in a professional setting
• Ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines; may require late hours/weekends
• Experience collaborating in a team; receptive to feedback
• Ability to conform writing to prescribed styles

Responsibilities

• Write and revise original copy for assigned clients
• Learn from feedback to produce copy that is strong and on point
• Contribute to copy and recruitment marketing discussions in client meetings
• Participate in team, client, and process meetings
• Help with special projects, including collateral pieces outside of Enrollment Services marketing products
• Work well with Art Directors, Web Designers and account teams
• Provide coverage and take on overflow work for the Copywriting group
• Adapt quickly to changing systems and processes
