URBN's Urban brands seek an on-site Art Director in Philadelphia to lead print-focused creative development from brief to final execution. You will guide designers, align with Creative Operations, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver brand-consistent work across retail and marketing touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Art Director or creative leadership role.
• Strong graphic design, typography, and art direction with a sophisticated visual sensibility.
• Fashion, retail, or lifestyle brand experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of print production processes including signage, packaging, large-format graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; experience with Asana or similar PM tools.

Responsabilités

• Provide art direction, design feedback, and leadership to a multi-level design team.
• Review briefs, assign ownership, and define creative and production direction.
• Lead development across promotions, signage, events, activations, and gifting.
• Guide work through multiple feedback rounds, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
• Concept and develop complex projects requiring additional ideation.
• Collaborate with Creative Operations to manage priorities, timelines, and resources.
• Direct freelance support as needed and partner with cross-functional teams to workshop solutions.
• Oversee production, proofing, and signage implementation from concept to final execution.
• Represent the Art Department in briefings and reviews; present work to senior leadership.
