Clemson University is seeking an Art Director for Advancement to lead visual branding across print, digital, social media and web, directing assets from concept to completion while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and budget.
The role focuses on advancement projects such as development, donor services, annual gifts and alumni, coordinating with designers, photographers and videographers to deliver compelling visuals.
Full Time
Directs, plans, develops and implements the overall look and style of assigned projects by determining how best to represent a concept visually though photographs, art and design. Insures projects meet budget requirements and comply with marketing and brand guidelines. Executes creation of assets for print, digital, social media, web and other media as needed from conception to completion. Prepares specifications for vendor quotes and files for production. The Art Director for Advancement focus primarily on projects in these main areas: Advancement; Development; Annual Gifts; Donor Services; and Alumni.

A bachelor's degree in graphic arts or art and work experience in graphic arts for print media publications.
Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations.
Supervises Student workers only
No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

Expected Salary Range
$52,100 - $56,000
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
