Veronica Beard is seeking an Associate Art Director, Brand Creative to lead on-figure ecommerce photography and support seasonal campaigns. You will translate brand direction across ecommerce and campaign environments, guiding styling, lighting, and retouching for a luxury fashion audience.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of design and art direction experience in fashion/luxury is preferred.
• Experience art directing e‑commerce photography and managing retouching workflows.
• Strong eye for design, sophisticated aesthetic, and interest in fashion.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative execution of all on-figure e-commerce photography, ensuring imagery is elevated, consistent, and aligned with seasonal brand direction.
• Art direct e-commerce shoots on set, guiding styling, posing, composition, and overall image quality.
• Lead image selects and provide detailed retouching notes, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency across all assets.
• Oversee and manage the in‑house retoucher, giving clear direction, feedback, and approvals throughout the post‑production process.
• Support seasonal campaign shoots, assisting with pre‑production and on‑set execution.
• Collaborate with the broader Brand Creative team on campaigns, digital content, and special projects.
• Partner with Styling, Production, E‑commerce, and Merchandising teams during pre‑production to align on casting, shot lists, styling, and shoot direction.
• Ensure e‑commerce imagery balances creative integrity with digital, merchandising, and business needs.
• Manage post‑production workflows and timelines, ensuring assets are delivered on schedule.
• Maintain and evolve e‑commerce photography standards, refining lighting, composition, posing, and on‑figure presentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
• Own photo shoots for our JOOR wholesale platform, providing direction and ensuring assets meet brand guidelines.
