OpenAI is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our in-house creative team. You’ll concept and direct high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that elevate OpenAI’s brand and communicate the capabilities, benefits, and ethical considerations of our technology.

You’ll partner with writers, designers, marketers, product leads, and external vendors to produce visually stunning work—from key visuals and web experiences to video storyboards, product trailers, and live event creative.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience as an Art Director or equivalent role.
• Strong visual design background across digital, print, film, and experiential.
• Ability to ideate strategically and lead multi-channel campaigns.

• Lead the creative development of marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand moments from concept to final execution.
• Develop and direct compelling visual narratives that bring OpenAI’s story and products to life.
• Translate abstract ideas and complex technology into clear, inspiring visual communications.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, brand strategists, product marketing, and external partners.
• Provide visual direction for campaign photography, illustration, and video—hands-on or via vendors.
• Establish and maintain a high visual bar across marketing outputs in line with brand identity.
• Contribute to the evolution of OpenAI’s brand system to be scalable and distinctive.
