LA (Lindeman & Associates) launched in 2015 and quickly established itself as a leader in the entertainment advertising space, winning Clio’s Agency of the Year in 2017. LA brings together artists, editors, and storytellers into one hyper-collaborative team specializing in crafting iconic 360º campaigns. Our work grows audiences, sparks conversations, builds brands, and shapes culture. Though we hail from around the country—and the world—Los Angeles is our creative home and our muse. LA is honored to collaborate with the industry’s leading theatrical and streaming partners, including Disney, FX, HBOMAX, Amazon Studios, Hulu, Paramount, Lionsgate, Netflix, STARZ, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros.

LA is seeking an innovative Art Director who is experienced in building world-class Key Art within the theatrical, broadcast, and/or streaming industries. This role is part of our Print team, working on projects with a variety of high-profile clients, with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of genres and IPs.

We pride ourselves on giving all of our artists a high degree of creative freedom. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is able to take ownership. You will report directly to the Creative Director and will be working with amazing artists cross-departmentally.

You should apply if you are a conceptual designer, love to take on projects from point A to Z, and thrive in a highly creative and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop strong visual concepts that capture the essence of a film through a single, impactful image
  • Execute high-end photo manipulation and compositing with an understanding of lighting, depth, and storytelling
  • Work with cinematic photography, commercial aesthetics, and expressive portraiture to create polished, professional key art
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail, value range, and image selection, ensuring expressions, lighting, and composition align with the narrative
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, iterating on ideas while maintaining strong creative intent.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency-environment
  • A designer with a deep understanding of world-building through image-making
  • Strong Photoshop skills for compositing, retouching, and color grading at a professional level
  • A keen eye for cinematic lighting, storytelling, and expressive details in photography
  • Ability to craft clever, conceptual storytelling elements within a single frame
  • Must be based in the Pacific Time Zone or willing to work Pacific Time Zone Hours

The Perks:
We want to make sure you’re taken care of while we build the future of entertainment together. LA is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to our team alongside competitive compensation.

  • Work is remote, with the option to work onsite in our DTLA office
  • Short and long-term disability, accident, critical-care coverage
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • 401K plan
  • Certain roles may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
  • Employee wellness benefits and mental health support
  • Employee engagement gatherings
  • Work with world-class talent in an environment that promotes creative freedom on projects you’ll be proud to tell your family and friends about
