Job description

Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Health benefits.

Location:

This is a remote role with travel required approximately every other month for photoshoots and content creation. Additional travel may be needed during peak seasons, such as Black Friday.

Candidates open to relocating will be eligible for a relocation bonus and may be eligible for additional compensation. In these cases, a hybrid work arrangement would be available. Our 6,000 sq ft office is located in Carrollton, TX, about 10 minutes south of K-Town and 20 minutes north of Dallas.

Dallas-Fort Worth boasts a robust, Asian-American community, offering rich cultural diversity, strong professional networks, and vibrant representation across business, arts, and civic life.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to add additional personnel to our creative team. Boba Tea Protein is a fast-growing wellness brand that is innovating at the intersection of boba and fitness. Our mission is to help people become their best selves by offering healthier, protein-packed alternatives to your favorite boba and Asian-inspired drinks!

We’re a 10-person team with a wide range of experience—from seasoned industry veterans to those just beginning their careers.

Overview:

As Art Director, you will be responsible for evolving the brand’s visual identity by leading comprehensive online campaigns that introduce a lifestyle element to the brand, along with any other initiatives you identify to strengthen the brand. These initiatives should revolve around social media campaigns, apparel, retail displays, product packaging, and website collateral.

The ideal candidate is highly passionate about brand building, conceptual, strategic, organized, and detail-oriented. They have a deep understanding of our target audience and feel that they strongly know what our audience wants to see and experience.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for conceptualizing campaigns and designing assets that elevate Boba Tea Protein’s brand image and enhance the overall customer experience. You must be able to collaborate effectively with creatives, social media managers, and influencer marketing team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the art direction for compelling campaigns that align with our brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries to generate fresh, innovative ideas.
  • Execute graphic design, some photography, and some videography required for social campaigns, apparel, retail displays, and product packaging.
  • Maintain and continue to develop our Brand Guide.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to shape the visual direction of campaigns, developing compelling design strategies that deliver powerful messaging.
  • Create detailed design guides for each campaign to lead the creative team toward a cohesive and impactful launch.
  • Champion innovation by staying current with industry trends and design advancements, bringing fresh ideas and strategies to keep the brand dynamic and relevant.
  • Assist with coordinating production days across multiple team members, models, hair and make-up artists, etc.
  • Assist with all kinds of social content, including filming, concepting, and participating in TikTok content creation.

Experience and Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, etc).
  • Experience with DSLR or Mirrorless cameras (or eagerness to learn).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying complexity and urgency.
  • Highly organized, task-oriented, and a team player.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Self-starter willing to work on team-based and independent projects.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:

  • No degree required; relevant degrees in creative advertising, visual communication, graphic design, or related fields are preferred.
